Greetings,
Today has been somewhat of a fun day. We went to the local hyperbaric chamber here which treats people that have dive injuries, especially a condition called “the bends” we sat through a 2 hour long lecture and then went down into the chamber room to look at it. In a few days we will be going back to actually go down into the chamber and experience 30 ft. of pressure, unfortunately I am unable to go diving there-fore I am unable to go into something that puts any sort of pressure on my ears or sinuses. I will have pictures up of the chamber up as soon as I can, but as of now I am being hounded for the computer usage so I will be short. Have a good rest of the week!

Hyperbaric Chamber
Hello everyone, sorry for the delay in the pictures, after my last blog the internet was down for a few days. They just fixed it today so here I am. As of late I have just been helping out around here going shopping with the cook, and teaching people how to play the guitar etc. as I am unable to go diving, but most of all I have been enjoying snorkeling everyday! The others have just about finished thier Advanced Diving course and will be certified in that soon. It has been rainy most of the time, but it has been in the 90’s most every day. What is cool is that we have seen 3 water spouts just off the island which are another form of tornados, nothing to worry about though. I wish I had a picture of those, but I do have a few pictures here of our trip and of where we are staying for the next couple of weeks. The only thing is, is that they are mixed up so there are captions there to help you figure it out (I have not quite figured this program out as of yet) I hope you enjoy the pictures as they have been a long time coming, there will be more to come as time allows. I hope everyone is well, and have a good week!

Todays Activities
Well it has been a bit easier than I thought it was going to be to be on the internet, and it has been nice. So I probably will be on a bit more, at least for the next 3 weeks. Today has been pretty laid back. I am unable to dive so I spent the day with the Archers walking the island and snorkeling. We had a long boat ride yesterday as I am having a bit of trouble getting my pictures up so I will work on that and try to upload some tomorrow. Goodbye for now!
Here in Honduras
I made it to Honduras, just so you know. We made it to our place to stay last night at 1 am and then we had 5 hours of sleep until we got up and boarded a boat to Utila. We just chilled and got all oreintated, and did some snorkeling. Tomorrow we start clinics. Well that is all for now I might have a chance to get some pictures up tomorrow, as we have wireless at the hotel we are staying at. Goodby for now!
Hours Away…
Here I am six hours away from the biggest trip I will ever take overseas most likely. It is hard leaving here. However, it is 10 degrees here in Lincoln, NE and I am headed for 80 degree weather down south. I know that by the time a week has gone by I will want cooler weather. I spent most of the day moving my things over to the IRR department as they are going to store them for me for three months. This will definitely be a trip that I will never forget. Well, I will tell you how our trip to Honduras went when I get to another internet source down there. Goodbye for now!
Hello world!
Entries for this blog will start being posted after the date of January 22nd, for that is when we leave this fine country and start our three month adventure! Thank you for your intrest.
